About Me

As a therapist, I am guided by the principle that understanding our past and present shapes a more balanced future. My goal is to offer you a safe space where you can explore these connections, uncovering insights that lead to personal growth and fulfilment.

At the heart of my practice is a profound interest in fostering quality relationships, both with ourselves and with others. My special interest in trauma and attachment theory shapes the way I work, helping you understand how past relationships and experiences influence your current view of yourself, others and the world.

Therapeutic Approach

My core training included person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT, along with existential approaches. I have done further training in ACT and EFT. While my practice is guided by psychodynamic principles, I embrace a pluralistic perspective—recognizing that multiple paths can lead to change and personal growth. I use an attachment and trauma-informed lens. This isn’t just about techniques or models for me. It’s about building genuine connections, nurturing understanding, and exploring the rich personal experiences of each individual.

While I deeply value the power of active listening, I see therapy as a two-way street. I bring myself into our sessions, offering interpretations, reflections, and insights. We will work collaboratively, always checking in on how things are unfolding for you and adjusting our approach as needed.

Every individual brings a unique set of experiences and identities, and I deeply believe in honouring this diversity. If you’ve ever felt marginalized or judged because of your differences, know that my practice is a place where all of you is welcome.

Background

I have dedicated my career to working with a range of clients, focusing particularly on early trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, stress, and burnout. As the manager of a counselling service at a London-based charity, I guide student counsellors and have built collaborations with the University of East London, offered supervision, marking, and research assistance. Additionally, my online counselling practice, serves clients from a multitude of backgrounds, ensuring therapy is accessible and inclusive.

Me Outside Therapy

When I’m not helping clients, I love spending time with my family, trying out new places to eat, and listening to meaningful music. I feel most relaxed when I’m near water, like rivers or the ocean. With roots in both London and Malaga, and now part of a multicultural family, I’ve gained a wealth of perspectives that enrich my daily life and practice. At the heart of it all, I value authenticity and genuine connections, which guide my personal interactions as much as my therapeutic ones.
