About Me
I am a dedicated therapist, fueled by a genuine passion to delve deep into the human psyche and unravel its intricacies. My drive stems from a belief in the transformative power of understanding — understanding our past, our present, and the connections between them. At the core of my practice lies the conviction that a deeper insight into our early experiences and relationships can provide profound revelations, guiding us towards a more enlightened and balanced life.
Therapeutic Approach
As an integrative practitioner, I blend various therapeutic theories to create a unique healing environment for my clients. At the heart of my approach is psychoanalysis, which allows for a deep dive into early relational dynamics, attachment styles, and individual developmental history. I’m also deeply invested in the existential counselling model, particularly when aiding those confronting bereavement or the anxieties of mortality. This model allows for reflective exploration into perceptions of death, the afterlife, and the existential dilemmas we all face. For immediate solutions or to address specific issues, I incorporate CBT techniques. Above all, I ensure to align my approach with the individual needs and preferences of each client.
Background
Over the years, I’ve served in a wide array of mental health services, both within the NHS and charitable organisations. My experiences span across TalkingTherapies, Psychiatric Liaison, Mental Health Inpatient Units, Home Treatment Teams, Crisis Resolution Services, and even more niche areas such as Forensic Psychiatry and the HMP Prison Service. Two charitable causes especially close to my heart are the children-focused ‘Place2Be’ and the women-centric ‘The Maya Centre’.

Me Outside Therapy
Outside the therapy room, I’m a hands-on mum to two vibrant kids. I cherish our park walks, the joy of trying out new recipes, and the simple pleasures of seeing my children discover new flavours. Balancing work and family life, I also make time for personal well-being, often hitting the gym to rejuvenate.
