If you’re seeking professional therapy or counselling covered by AXA Health insurance, you’re in the right place. As an accredited psychotherapist approved by AXA Health, I am here to help you navigate life’s challenges and achieve greater emotional well-being. Book a Free 15-Minute Consultation
Choosing the right therapist is an important step. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and determine if we are a good fit to work together. While I can guide you through the process of using your AXA Health insurance, it’s essential that you contact your insurer directly to confirm your coverage for mental health treatment.
How to Get Your AXA Health Sessions Covered
Getting your therapy sessions covered by AXA Health is a straightforward process. I am here to guide you every step of the way, making sure you feel supported. Here’s how it works:
- Schedule an Initial Consultation: Contact me to arrange a free consultation to assess your needs and see how I can help. Be sure to inform me if you plan to use your AXA Health insurance to cover the cost of therapy.
- Contact AXA Health: Once we’ve had our initial consultation, you’ll need to inform AXA Health of your intention to use your insurance policy to cover your sessions with me. AXA typically authorises an initial block of sessions, often 10, and provides an authorisation code.
- Provide Your Insurance Details: After AXA Health approves the sessions, they will give you an authorisation code. When booking your assessment session through our client portal, you’ll need to provide:
- Your AXA Health policy number
- The authorisation code from AXA
- The number of sessions authorised
- Continuing Your Therapy: If you feel you need additional sessions beyond the initial ones authorised by AXA Health, we can request further approval. I will provide a progress report to AXA Health, supporting your request for more sessions.
- For clients using insurance, sessions are usually charged at £85 per 50-minute session. Please be aware that insurance providers do not cover the fees for missed or cancelled sessions. You are responsible for paying the full session fee if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice. These charges will be invoiced to you directly and must be paid upon receipt.
Important Note on Missed Sessions:
Please be aware that AXA Health and other insurance providers do not cover missed or cancelled sessions. You will be responsible for paying the full fee for sessions that are missed or rescheduled without 48 hours’ notice.
Why Should You Use Your AXA Health Insurance to Cover Therapy?
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether it’s due to stress, past trauma, relationship difficulties, or the pressures of daily life. Working with a psychotherapist can help you understand and manage these challenges. You don’t need to go through it alone. By engaging in therapy, you can develop a deeper awareness of your emotions, explore patterns of behaviour, and ultimately create positive changes in your life.
Whether you’re feeling disconnected or struggling to cope, psychotherapy can help you gain clarity and control over your emotional well-being. With the support of AXA Health, you can begin your therapy journey without worrying about the cost, making it easier to focus on your personal growth and healing.
